Similar to what Fake anon said, Nexus definitely had the most dramatic ending but the build-up to that mostly happened off-forum after she left, and we only saw the horrifying end result.
Green, OTOH, we saw most of what was happening with him, the sheer unhinged things he was doing like stealing a dentist sign, buttering a Bible, randomly shouting in churches and... Certain other pictures I did not need to see. Credit to him he got out of that lifestyle eventually, but I think he beats out the others for being the most unhinged presence on here (at the time).

Can anyone lend me more insight into the actual culture of this place and its characters, and how they all interacted with each other? I've been posting here for 3.5 years and I've read every word of the ED article. I understand most aspects of the culture individually. I just don't truly understand how they all coalesce into the story of Minichan at its peak. Noawadays it seems like there's a handful of users here, but did activity levels ever reach that of any of the other 4chan boards? I was a 4chan and AnonTalk user throughout those days, yet I never used any of the AT clones and actually would get pissed off whenever the clone boards would raid AT (where I was a wiseguy at 12 years old).

Oh, yeah, Minichan is way past it's heyday, but I wouldn't say we were ever at the activity levels of a reasonably active 4chan board. Even when it was super busy, you could potentially know and keep track of every single namefag.

Dyslexia - A Curse and a Blessing. I have an Engineer degree and a lot of courses at other Universities. I cannot re-construct a 2d drawing into a 3d view. Back in the day this was a nightmare in real time for me. Today with CAD no Enginnering student is faced with such a problem. That failure turned out to be a total blessing in my Engineering career.
English language is a bitch for me. Never got in the way in use of Calculus lol

In Mark's defence, as I recall, he said they were wandering around for like an hour or two looking for ninjj's car, and getting into an increasingly sketchy neighbourhood. I can understand why Mark might have wanted to leave that situation. If I met up with somebody I had only previously known online, and they were just leading me around a dodgy area with no end in sight, I might also politely excuse myself.

He could have stayed to continue the search for Ninjj's car, but he did not care. He would leave the man to his fate.
Meanwhile, the dilapidated ghetto houses slowly opened their front doors, and from them emerged dangerous-looking men who were, frankly, black. Their leader, DeMarcus DeShawn, grinned sadistically. They would not have dared to make a move while a Jewish chad who was well over 6ft was there, but now this little Latino boy, standing a little under 5ft, was all alone. They pulled their guns out of their baggy pants and advanced on him, ready to take everything he had.
As Ninjj was slowly encircled, he did one last look around for his car (it would later emerge that he had actually parked it about 5 miles away). He then looked at the Uber which was leisurely cruising away, and he said "Ugh."
