Topic: I'm curious... someone here recommended me a certain school of thought.

This was during my exploration into the religion known as Islam. Someone told me that if I was heading down that root to try out a certain school of thought. The school of thought not being Sunni or Shia, but one that according to my research, pre-dates them, the school of thought being Sufism.
I don't know what is going on with me during these past few weeks, but perhaps my prayers are being answered. Perhaps I'm being guided by those here on Earth who know me and maybe, just maybe, some higher power is also guiding me toward a religion. Not because this higher power knows I would succumb to dogma, but for some sense of structure. Perhaps this higher power is showing me a path that would only benefit me in my interests and desire to help people.
Perhaps this higher power is telling me that maybe it agrees with whomever it was that suggested Sufism in Islam to me. When you really think about some of the practices such as wudu, and pardon my language, but this just seems like God's way of saying, "If you want to get close to me, take a fucking shower, you smell like mud." Even though as I type this it feels like I'm in control, but also not in control.
Sure, there could be technological or scientific explanations, but quite frankly, that could also be true. But these past couple of weeks seemingly has been telling me that the answer is all of the above. I don't even need to post this under my usual name and tripcode, because I'm pretty sure everyone here knows exactly who I am. I guess my text voice, mostly comprised of just regular English grammar and spelling corrections, makes it easy to tell that I'm Catherine. Well, the moniker I go by here anyway.
However, perhaps, this higher power isn't just guiding me toward Sufi Islam, but also toward an even higher calling and path among those of Unitarian Universalism. A religion that is a religion but also a collaboration of different faith backgrounds working together in unison to promote the overlapping morals found within all world religions, morals like kindness and compassion, found in almost every world religion. Maybe even some past ones too, but that one is a little sketchy. Because, you know what, fuck Zeus.
So, perhaps, Allah is showing me the path of becoming an Unitarian Universalist through the way of Sufi Islam. However, there is a third "religion" that seems to be making some headway here as well, and it's one that was "discovered" by a member of this very fora. Let's just say, and this is just a belief, but what if the universe's end was also it's beginning. A constant loop that only replenishes itself for an undisclosed to us reason. So, perhaps, in addition to Unitarian Universlaism and Sufi Islam, the third one (△), is Reternalism, whose founder was none other than Minichan's own Green.
EDIT: I think a good name would be a Unitarian Universalist through the path of Sufi Islam with acknowledgements to Reternalism.

I say things like "I'm happy just being with me" or "I don't need someone" or "I need to work on myself" and yet there is always someone else I fall for. It's like a curse and a never-ending cycle. I want to say that the absence of someone else in my life is enough to say it's time for myself, but life is unpredictable so tomorrow there could be someone else or perhaps someone in my past returns. But whatever, God loves me, that's enough for the meantime. Still, my heart makes wishes and it's hard to dispute, I'm only human after all.
