Topic: Why should I believe Bitcoin will ever reach 100k?

I really would like to hear the arguments for buying Bitcoin at this price. Redditors are entering the manic greed phase and are making stupid (yet unironic) posts about taking out 16% interest personal loans to buy Bitcoin. It’s not a very good sign.

I really do want a serious answer to this question. I’m sure there are some Bitcoin bulls on this board, I want those bitch niggas to come in this thread and try to explain themselves.

I miss when /r/Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrency communities actually discussed development and adoption etc., and weren't 80% "diamond hands 💎🙌 #HODL $500k by 2030?! to the moon! 🌝" retardation from idiots.

There should be a proof-of-work cryptocurrency that folds proteins or some shit — a useful application of processing power. Like the Folding@home project but you get a small amount of funny dog meme Internet money periodically.

There was Primecoin. The proof-of-work for primecoin resulted in finding long chains of prime numbers.
