I don't have any. My point is that http://www.trainn.org/reviews.php can be proof, however no one would believe it unless I told them that was the same company I got my free iPhone from. I want real proof from a real user, not just claims nor a site saying they'll buy it.

You think this site is fake? That these people just want to steal your Bitcoins (you can use small amounts to test the waters). There are several other sites, many merchants accepting it at lower denominations, an active forum, etc. etc.

It could be done that way, sure.
You were asking about sites that sell goods in exchange for bitcoins, though, the US dollar being completely removed from the equation.
I was pointing out that fluctuations in the value of one currency doesn't necessarily mean the prices of goods in another currency changes.
It isn't worth the extra effort on the part of the shops, so they simply set a price that the market will bear.
Buying/Selling stuff would be a LOT more complicated if things worked the way your're thinking they do.
