Squeegee became trans and posted picture of herself saying how hot she was and kook said she was ugly and on meth
Then squeegee got mad and shared lots of old posts of kook being transphobic and posting TERF stuff and they just yelled at each other in topics for about a month until squeegee disappeared
Now squeegee is back and pretends that it wasn’t him and a troll pretending to be him

Hi trip! People have missed you around here, your absence has been discussed quite a bit.
Yes, the place is slow. With regular users leaving over the years and few (if any) new users in recent years the board has finally reached critical mass so to speak. An end is really inevitable. Even for once hugely popular forums and boards, it's the circle of life.
Regarding kook and her wife, out of respect I won't confirm or deny anything. If they wanted their business public they would make it so.
I will say do not believe anything you don't hear from them directly! They are good people who have collected a lot of haters over the years. Popularity breeds contempt.
What's new with you???? I hope all is awesome. You can find me on discord, it'd be pretty ok to have a chat.

These are my sentiments exactly. We don't really do anything to attract new users, and we have and will lose posters as time goes on. It's a shame but it's just how these things go. Perhaps we've even gone on for longer than such a niche forum should.
Personally, I'm not too sad about things inevitably winding down. I'm just glad that I had some fun times here, and made a friend or two as well.

Yeah, that's putting it very well. It's fully expected but it's still sad to see it happen, you know? I am glad to have met certain people here.
What made you come back, and when? Iirc your absence was....long.
I've just had a lot going on in my life. I got really burnt out as an archaeologist and moved to an office job where i am surprisingly pretty fulfilled and learning a lot. I found my inherited dog the perfect home. Rescued a snake. Between quitting archaeology and taking my meds again i have energy for a social life for the first time in years. I'm picking up my dropped friendships. I'm planning my first birthday party as an adult! (the rough plan is to go axe-throwing then go out to eat then hang out together and pre-drink and go out to a show or a dance night - that way there's something for the people who want to go out and party as well as something for the people who want a more relaxed sober time).
How is everything with you? I haven't heard from you in quite a while.
Would be nice to have a chat sometime soon, yes.

Tell me about your women troubles! I would like to hear.
It's been a pretty mild winter tbh but last night it snowed like 20cm then the ploughs came through the parking lot and left a snowbank behind the cars parked against the building. I thought i could make it through but i got entirely fucking stuck and took over half an hour to dig myself out. Was really thoroughly stuck, couldnt just back out again and re-park and decide to take the bus, so i didn't really have a choice but fuck me i am sore today. On the other hand, driving on snowy roads can be fun. You have no traction, because your tires aren't touching the road at all, you're on a layer of snow that can and will move. A bit like hydroplaning i'd imagine? But when you start to skid/slide you don't have time to think or panic, you just have to regain control asap. So far i've been either good or lucky.
I'm having a social life for the first time in a long time. Loving my job (for the most part) and learning a lot. Working on getting my meds stabilised but overall it's not bad! Oh and now i'm a good enough driver that i dont worry about fucking up my car but now the city vehicles will do it for me. A snowplow left a big scratch across the hood's side panel and a bus took my side mirror off and dented the shit out of the same side panel. Fuckin....ironic, a bit. Have to laugh or i'll cry.
I'm aware i'm writing walls of text, that's partially due to being gone so long and having a lot to say/being bored and nothing to do, and partially because i'm still settling into being on vyvanse and it does make me a bit speedy for now.

I have snow tires. Metal studded ones are definitely not standard here and with the way winters go these days they're not practical. When there's no snow they tear up the roads really bad, and these winters lately there's plenty of periods of little-to-snow on the roads. If i were using summer or all-season tires this would not be working at all, I will say that. I also got 17" winter tires/rims, an inch bigger in diameter than my summers (winter tires are mandated in the winter here, no all-seasons allowed) which makes it easier, i've been able to easily drive through snowbanks/snowpiles that my previous cars (which all had 16" rims/tires) would have gotten stuck in.
@1,218,355 (Erik !AltRitexT6)
I know you know that what you're doing is unethical and that if/when one/both of them find out what you're doing they will be hurt. You're too scared to break up with one of them so you go with the long-term inevitability of losing both in a much worse way? I mean i get the mindset, i'm avoidant as hell and that's gotten me into shit i could have avoided by just having conversations but it's a lifelong issue. I'm aware the way i phrase this sounds judgemental but i'm honestly just asking for details.

Eh, suit yourself, I guess. I'd place your and other's lives above tearing up the fucking roads. Quebec allows metal studded tires for a larger time window than the period they mandate winter tires. If you've got a small car, it's even more important to have studded tires. If you get in an accident with anyone, or any moose, you're the one that's most likely going to die.

One thing I am eternally thankful for is that we have little to no snow in Houston. When we get an inch or two it fucks everything up for a bit because we have no infrastructure to deal with it. No one has winter tires, there are no snowplows, and of course everyone freaks out (having spent some years in Colorado I am well acquainted with driving in snow but many people here have never seen any meaningful amount in their lives).
However, I have enjoyed the roads being 100% free of snow every single day this winter. It MIGHT get to be BARELY freezing tonight. For five minutes. And then it will warm right up again into the sixties like it does every day this winter. I'd much rather have torrential rainstorms than blizzards any day. At least you don't have to shovel heat!

I haven't come close to either (thankfully), not with Rita, Ike, or Harvey. We didn't have any come close this year at all.
Flooded roads are a problem in some areas of Houston. Several times I was late to work because the roads were impassible. But neither is at all common. Maybe once every couple years?

Yeah well of course when people don't know how to drive in those conditions they freak out or try to drive like it's a normal road and get all fucked up.
In Quebec you have to take 24 hours (12 lessons) of theoretical lessons to get your learner's and then 15 hours of on-road driving (15 1-hour sessions) with an instructor. The process takes a year so that you have to learn how to drive in all seasons.
My first time driving - on my own - on the highway was also my first time driving in a blizzard. And my driver's side windshield wiper broke off so every time i slowed down or stopped the snow would start to build on my windshield. I'm pretty sure I cried. :')
The main issue here is plowing the street parking. The streets get ploughed right quick, like through the night and through the day until it's done. They do it well. The snowbanks naturally get pushed to the side, up against/where the cars are parked. But they don't get to the street parking until a week later for my street. Even longer in some other areas. It's unusable in the meantime unless you're happy to dig yourself out every morning and clear yourself a spot every afternoon.
@1,218,448 (B)
I will also say that in 3 years of driving and 8 years of living here i have never ever seen studded tires or tire chains. Up north where you have fucking ice roads sure but not here. I did a bunch of research and asked everyone, including the guy i know whose entire job is tires, and they're really not necessary here. It's overkill. Winter tires are really really good these days, the difference in traction between winters and summers is night and day. It's just...not being an idiot. And i see plenty of asshole driving year-round (actually less in the winter) but the way they do driver's licensing means that people do actually know how to drive in the winter. I don't see much idiot driving in the winter.

You can't use chains on personal vehicles in Quebec or almost anywhere on public roads, so not a surprise you haven't seen them. Studded tires, though, aren't always as obvious to spot.
> the difference in traction between winters and summers is night and day.
So is the difference between studs and no studs.
There seems to be a lot of propaganda, for lack of a better word, about snow tires. But when you look into it, all the driving tests comparing them with studs, there's no comparison.
> It's just...not being an idiot.
The way you describe your winter driving doesn't sound safe. You shouldn't be losing control over your vehicle on public roads ever. It may not just be your tires, but also, likely, your speed.

Ok i've never hydroplaned so i am assuming that the feeling when you start to lose traction and have to immediately correct to not skid out is similar to hydroplaning. Could absolutely be a false equivalency, i wouldn't know, because I've only experienced loss and regain of traction in heavily snowy conditions and not actual hydroplaning

My son and stepson used to enjoy our time spent together trolling people on Minichan, but now it's hard to justify the time needed to truly troll, and with all the snow tire posts it hardly seems worth it. I remember back in the Anontalk days, we called it AnT back then, then came Anothertalk and Tinychan, now those were good platforms, not like the platforms today. Lol yeah the cost of putting the tires on the rims was something i took into account. I can change tires myself but i can't put tires on rims myself! A neighbour works at a tire shop so we had him mount the tires on the rims at work and we changed them in the parking lot. Dude gave us a decent deal. I could maybe have gotten decent tires for a little bit cheaper online but honestly i'd rather take the expertise of someone who knows what he's doing and will put the damn things on the rims for me. And I realise how this sounds but uh my boyfriend gets a lot more respect than I do. I'm not worried about people ripping him off the way i'd worry about people ripping me off. So dealing with certain things is easier when i do it with him rather than alone.
This is the first time that i've bought new snow tires and man the difference it makes is amazing. Like obviously when you're driving in 20cm of fluffy powder snow that just fell and the plow hasnt come yet you're not gonna have traction like on asphalt, that's common sense. It's just...go slow, no sudden movements, learn to correct without over-correcting, if you don't immediately start moving when you hit the gas then gently tap/pump it don't slam on it. And give people more space than you would normally.

Now it's making sense to me. I'm a mechanic myself and I see this type of thing all the time. Boyfriend comes along and I know 9 times out of 10 they're going to get fucked and I can charge them 2x no questions asked. It's almost always worse than if he just stayed at home because, you see, there's this bit of psychology that trips people up. Boyfriend doesn't want to seem like he doesn't know about cars in front of gf. So bf nods along as I spin them a story about how I need to do X Y and Z.
Funny story, I rebuilt an entire engine last week and pocketed thousands. The real problem? Needed a new spark plug which takes like 10 min to replace.
My dad retired at 50 on the backs of couples like you, and I'm on track to do the same real soon. No hard feelings, though, I wouldn't be telling you all this if I didn't want to help out.
I can tell you, though, in my experience the hardest pill for people to swallow is accepting they made a costly mistake with their car. Continually repairing a car that should be scrapped, not doing the right preventative maintenance, doing unneeded maintenance, or, like your case, getting tires that aren't cut out for their level of driving experience. Although, to be fair, I recommend everyone, in earnest, get studded tires driving a car like yours. The pill seems harder to swallow when boyfriend/husband/whatever came along and "approved" of one costly mistake after another.
Anyway, if you're ever south of the border, PM me. I'd be happy to hook your car up at my shop. I'll only charge you half price. Good luck.

It's just that people - especially people in this complex, who are often the ones we end up working with - have a lot more respect for that guy than they do for me.
You seem to keep forgetting or deliberately ignoring the many times where I said I researched new winter tire prices where I live. I've scrapped cars for as much as I paid for them. I'm doing fine.
You're very condescending for someone who seems to have no idea what he's talking about. Exactly the type of person i let my boyfriend deal with instead of me - after telling him what the facts are - because he's much better with confrontation than me.

We are trained to detect this. Calling bluffs is literally our job.
Do your research before calling us up. If you bluff your way through, you're going to be sent home with several hundred, potentially several thousand dollars liberated from your wallet and, if you're smart, a lesson on why it's a bad idea to pretend like you know something you don't. Few people are lucky enough for that second part.
I shouldn't be the one informing you about the fact that metal protrusions on a tire are going to greatly increase traction and why, for a beginning driver especially, that this could help save your life. I shouldn't be the one informing you that you don't need to "tune up" your HVAC. And so on.
Not all mechanics are honest like I am. Consider yourselves warned.

oh hi ks. yeah, trolling used to mean something. meant you were a rebel. meant you were free. meant everyone was mad in space, and all that mattered was drinking sprite. and ddosing anontalk. and then things went too far. and vocalon killed anontalk for real. we couldn't even keep minichanopolis from being destroyed by 12 year old Gen z kids and r04r had every kinda cheat hack she could slip past the Java app. which were pretty much all of them. it was only a matter of time before we turned on each other. I can see that now. we thought we controlled the trolling. but no. a simple block filter is the same as shining sunlight onto vampires. all thats left are a few daywalkers and enclaves of nightcrawlers and when they cross paths lives are destroyed and it's serious business. like for real though. no one is a rebel anymore for living by the old ways. it means they're sentitious, and overweening. A bumptious howdy is met with incessant quibbling and irritated remonstrances. no one's even heard of sprite these days. and when Chris chan got caught fucking his mom I knew there was no going back. the world just didn't care. everything was for nothing. nothing of value was lost. its the dawn of a new age. one of werewolves and woke ai, but Gen z is busy fighting each other with assault rifles in schools I guarantee when the time comes we're on our own. thought and prayers. it's kinda funny at the tip of the spear. you can't tell ai from humans, but the biggest concern people have is werewolves in girls swimming and teaching kids about werewolvism in school, and how to define what a wolf is. well, when my feet get cold my nipples hurt. if I don't do laundry, cook breakfast and dinner and do dishes and buy groceries no one will. what kind of thanks do I get? irritated quibbling remonstrance. if they need to reference a dictionary to give an answer, that's artificial intelligence. Michael Irvin was really savvy on the werewolves and vampires issue, he tried to tell us but, you know, the brain damage made it come out all stupid like. but even he knew you wanna be a werewolf, and he's been fighting against intelligence of all types for years. I guess enemies make for strange bedfellows. trolls taught us that. but they couldn't just say it they had to go through this whole elaborate years long distributed campaign to make someone fuck their mom. and every single bit of this is vocalon's fault. take it easy ks. (in case you don't recognize me with spectacles, it's squeegee, everyone hates me now and they're not pretending, he spectacles just protect my eyes from all this bubbling sprite I get at the grocery store. because, of course, the lawn.)

I've always enjoyed writing stuff for y'all and y'all always gave me a lot of inspiration to work with. minichanopolis is still one of my favorite emergent group creative experiences. minichan taken as a whole is a creative expression with untold numbers of people all adding their own color. that dawned on me yesterday that it's not a thing, or a place or collection or anything like that. it's a living emergent expression of creativity. the value has always been in the experience. it's special and unique because the people here, and no one in the world except for everyone who did it could create the same experiences, hilarious moments, or care about it the same way, or understand it. not without high doses of estrogen for an extended period. it really makes you think. which is just not something I'm used to.
