I'm a jobless bum and I fucking hate it. It's grinding me down. I feel so useless. I'm stressed about cash because I want to save for dental work but more than that I just feel like shit. I'm super antsy yet find it difficult to convert that into actually...doing things. I have seriously considered suicide much more often than usual.

Heard back from a job I interviewed for today. Didn't get it, three other applicants all had relevant experience so they got the three vacancies. Fair enough.

But because I otherwise did well in the interview, I've essentially been offered a position a step down, since it will soon be available. Quite pleased with this since once I'm inside I can work my way up anyway. The only thing is that the boss wasn't sure when exactly when they'd be able to get me in, a few weeks at least but maybe a month or two at most. There'll probably be some wrangling with recruitment to get the job offered and to see if they can just put me straight into it.

Quite happy overall, was excited about this place, but also feeling some ennui over more purgatory. Was gonna buy some gin to celebrate if I got the job, but I'll merely drink some beers tonight.

In this enclosure, I have Baryonyx, Carnotaurus, Gigantosaurus, Indominus Rex, Spinosaurus, Suchomimus, and Tyrannosaurus Rex. I modified them, so that all their stats are pretty close. This makes it less likely they will kill each other, if they do fight. Also, I keep 5 Gallimimus in the enclosure, this seems to help keep them from fighting each other.

Carefully agonising on the final colour scheme for my 40k models. I need to decide precisely which of the smaller details will be gold, silver, or white respectively. Slightly worried it could be a day or two before my neuroticism settles down and I just paint it.

Otherwise, I've got a colour scheme that's quite simple and quick to paint. Should get a nice little army going when I finally knuckle down.

The easy way to do that is angle your drivers side mirror all the way down to where you see the ground like slightly behind where you ate sitting.
That way you can see the painted line...and the front of the car that's on your left.

We're gonna figure it out tomorrow. Get new coolant, check how bad the leak is and take it to the mechanic if need be. If it's just small I can just keep it topped off. I was going super slow so if the radiator cracked it was probably already a bit cracked. A wire came down that was ziptied in place so i think that supports my "already damaged" theory ahah.
I'm just worried about not getting an appointment. Garages were super backed up when they reopened. We'll see. :$

Well let's hope it's something minor! All used cars have some amount of wear and tear so probably there was something wrong with it to begin with. I didn't even think about that but yeah, I bet tons of people are bringing their car to get repaired now that things are slowly returning to normal. Maybe if you know someone who works at a garage you can secure a slot? Not sure what your options are. The most important rule of driving is don't hit things btw.

If it's the radiator that's fucked then get another one and you and your fellow can put it on and save a lot of dough.Its not too hard just a few bolts and a couple of hoses to connect.

Also...always price car parts from at least 3 or 4 places when you need to get something. A part that costs $27 dollars at one place might very well cost $59.50 somewhere else.
