Topic: About the virus...

I think that there are 3 models for dealing with the virus

1. Aim for removal

2. Let it burn through and pray for herd immunity

3. Go and do the lockdown for a month or two, then open up the economy, see cases rise then repeat

I'm a big fan of the method where we track it by testing and quarantine affected individuals to contain the spread.

That would be #1 when the numbers are low, but you can't quarantine 1% of the population.

So if you live in a town of 1000 people, you can't quarantine 10 of them? Why not?

My city would support 0.6% of the population, but that might be because of an earthquake affecting the availability. Another city would support about 1.0%.

Realistically you know it's never gonna get removed. By the time a vaccine comes along it will have mutated into twenty different strains and it will be whack-a-mole. Lockdowns kill the economy (and will destroy our standard of living after a while).

The only long term option is herd immunity.

but if the virus mutates into different strains herd immunity wouldn't work either

Zero countries are going for full herd immunity. I guess that it's unpalatable for pretty much every society.

That’s 86,000 deaths that could have been prevented.

The Coronavirus is a hoax. The governments of all the countries have banded together to reduce the human population. They know that by creating chaos, the economy will tank, people will kill each other, and only the strong will survive.

If(and I use IF loosely) there were actually over 100,000 deaths world wide, it's not from a virus. It's the government killing people who knew/know too much. For example, a scientist in China was killed by the so called virus, when he was so close to creating a "vaccine". Another scientist (who was Chinese) was killed in the USA as he was getting closer to creating a "vaccine" as well. Coincidence? I think not. There are more to these deaths than the governments are telling us.

Does anyone on this chan personally know anyone, who has contacted the Coronavirus, or died from it? Me neither. So it's not as "widespread" as they make it out to be.

I also find it funny that 66% of the hospitalized "patients", were following the stay at home orders, while far less people who weren't following the orders, were fine. Why is that?

So whom is the real culprit here? The world governments, or some made up virus?

Yes, China could have prevented this by not running filthy wet markets selling bats and panoglins for human consumption.

herd immunity only works if any immunity gained by having the disease is long-lasting. people don't necessarily get long-term immunity. for instance, we have to get booster shots against tetanus, recommended every five years.

now recall how a very few people seemed to be resistant to getting AIDS? they found some whores in Thailand or somewhere like that. species immunity is possible if any sufficient percent of people have natural resistance. It may be that there are only a few hundred people like that, we don't know.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/16/politics/uss-theodore-roosevelt-sailors-coronavirus/index.html

Here is a case of eight people who got the coronavirus, fully recovered and tested negative for it twice, and then got it again.
Herd immunity will not work, because there will be many people who will not even get immunity, this making the whole thing pointless because they'll spread it again.

In fact, I recently read that a few previous forms of COVID gave immunities that only lasted a couple of months.

Some people have a natural mutation which makes them immune to HIV.

I and everyone else has to go get groceries every couple of weeks. Everytime
we have to go in there we are exposed to 2 or 3 store workers and all the other customers who are in the store. Right?
The store should have sales to compensate us customers for risking our lives and the lives of our families and risking everything by coming in there.

It's bad. They want us to change gowns every time we enter a room, but we don't have enough. We are also using the same lifting machines for everyone. The slings are cloth and can't be sanitized, so we are actually still spreading germs around! Besides the two masks and the gown, when we are In a room, we have to wear a plastic sneeze Guard type visor. So you can see almost nothing and have no peripheral vision at all
Also it is so hot, and your entire face is wet for the whole shift, and your nose runs constantly and you cant wipe it! Fucking sucks!
