Externally hosted imageSee pic. These were the first leaves on my plant which were starting to die. The tips are also turning a funny colour. Is this normal? Also the tips on the other leaves are also going lighter in colour.

Too much or too little water or light or nutrients

Can it be both? Sometimes the plant sags from lack of water but then I over water it. I never know how often or how much these plants need

Just once a week should be fine, don't let the soil dry out, have good drainage, maybe add some fertilizer

It's probably bc of the Paki women he's had in his flat, tbh.

If I water it once a week it starts to sag quite badly

It could be a nutrient thing, but remember it's whatever you did two weeks ago that is showing up now. Do you have a *-*-* number scale on whatever nutrients you are using? How old are the plants?

If they are the bigger leaves with large stems, that's natural for them to either, and they should be pruned to increase nutrient flow to the rest of the plant. Don't strip it naked though, just the leaves that are either being blocked or a few to open up the lighting area

What are the dimensions of the pots? I usually only water potted plants for a few seconds of medium flow each day. Are they able to drain or does water sit in the bottom of them?

Yellowing can be lack of nitrogen but also an abundance of other nutrients

Thanks, I think I need to prune a few dead leaves. I did repot it about a month ago to a much larger pot. Will need to measure the plant
