I think that the operation leaves open a part of the body that shouldn't be open and therefore there's smell that isn't contained in the urinary tract as it normally would. I definitely discourage those operations, i argue that if the aim is to be more like a woman biologically, then this very surgery will not be beneficial and instead harmful since a woman has genitals... You see? You might have the wrong genitals but even the wrong genitals is technically 50% correct, it's just the wrong ones. No genitals? 100% incorrect.

I’d say more like 80% or 90% correct and if anything one could always view their dick as a mini clit since that’s what a dick technically starts out as. But I know someone who is planning to have this done and they’ve already started to change their lifestyle like eating healthy and practicing proper hygiene down there. They seem pretty knowledgeable about what might make a surgery go wrong so I’m interested in just what their experience would be. But yeah, I know about the smell that gets left behind.

I feel fortunate whenever I read stories like this knowing that I have a trans lead organization who actually cares and a medical clinic that has a doctor renowned for his work in gender affirming care. If I were ever even contemplating the bottom surgery I sort of trust them on where I could go to get it done by someone who actually cares. Though I don’t really have any plans for it.
