Good grief, that's bullshit for a family of 5 to get $6000 cause of 3 kids when a couple who have no children will get $2400.
You can argue that shit if you want but it makes no sense for them to get an extra $2400 for 2 kids who are either 16 0r 17.
They already got $6000 ($2000 per kid) more than the couple without children at tax time AND $1500 more when the last $1200 check was given.($500 per kid up to 3 kids)
So, 2 stim checks and child tax credit for 2 parents three kids= $15,900
2 stim check for childless couple? $4800
That is WRONG!!
It's not that I am lathered up about it. I'm just pointing out that it's extremely inequitable and I marvel about the way the the families with 3 teenage kids get three times as much.
The family with 3 kids can buy a brand new Ford and the couple without 3 kiddos barely get a months rent and a couple of weeks groceries.
