I could see it as a verb in the sense of registering copyrights like "I've been copyrighting my Minichan posts so no one can reproduce them without my written permission".

I doubt it is a real word, but it's plausible.

right but you don't need to register for copyright. if i make a painting and in 5 years someone makes an identical paper as long as i can proof my painting was first i can sue

Yeah you don't have to but it makes the litigation process easier in an infringement case because you have proof of what you wrote and when.
