Again, if the way pedestrian collisions worked was expnentially contagious (i.e. someone who got run over would then go on to run over 10 more people, and each of them would go on to run over 10 more, scaling up until everyone in the country got run over) then we WOULD shut down roads. That would be fine by me but car accidents are still not the same type or scope of problem as this virus. More people have died in the last month from the coronavirus than total people died last year from car accidents in the US. You are just being obtuse.
