How can you have been conscious from the years 2009 - 2020 and conclude that the reason there isn't massive new government spending is because Democrats are holding it up lmao. The US risked defaulting on its debt and lost its triple A bond rating because Republicans held the debt ceiling hostage demanding cuts in government spending multiple times in the Obama administration.
