Once while I was going through withdrawals I had hallucinations about being haunted by ghosts made out of clouds of nanodrone robots that could phase shift through walls and shit. Every time the ghost-drone-cloud-thing had to shift through an obstacle to follow me, it would reform with a slightly different personality because it had rebuild its cooperative network again. It could never reform quite the same way twice, so when it showed back up to whisper in my ear or control my thoughts I would never know how friendly or malevolent the new form would be. It was like being haunted by a ghost with a multiple personality disorder. It was pretty fun at the time.
