How long does a full charge last? I've only used an electric bike once, cycling over Dartmoor, and the two hour battery life I felt was pretty shit (though I had it on "turbo" mode a lot).

Oh, you cycled around Dartmoor, did you? Did you make scones with the cream on first, afterwards?

According to the site
> With a capacity of 310Wh / 9Ah and a range of up to 40miles* per charge, the Crossroad is very capable of providing assistance for all riding conditions – whether than be a competitive race, work commute or leisurely ride with your local Cycling club – the Crossroad has you covered.

Will you be wearing your full Tour de France spandex outfit with the bum pads and clip in shoes?

I read that it says the charge may only last about half of the 40 mile range if you push it hard.
I guess they mean like continually going up hill the whole time.

Battery
The battery pack on this bike is a 36v 9Ah, giving a total energy capacity of 310Wh (watt hours). Providing you are frugal with the e-assist, there is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to squeeze 40 miles out of a single charge, but if you ride everywhere in full power mode, you will deplete the battery in under 20.

So I went out and rode about central London for a bit. It's a great bike but as it turns out I ride much faster than the 15 MPH peddal assist so it's only good for when the going gets tough like uphill or through wind.

Can't be arsed to look it up. What's an electric bike?

Sounds like it will be good for if your legs get really tired, you can keep going and rest at the same time.

Not really because it's capped at 15mph but I ride faster than that. It's so I can ride further and then manage the ride back better. Great for exploring
