You don't have permission to post this person's face here. Dox, harassment, etc.

I actually thought the Ionic Breeze was pretty awesome. I had one and loved it. I like the smell of ozone. Yeah I know ozone is dangerous, harmful, not FDA-approved, blablalbla whatever. I loved it anyway. Plus no filters to replace, you just clean the charged metal plates once a week and you're good to go.
I really miss those ?

They were a huge deal in the early '00s until Consumer Reports released some gay fake news article about ozone being bad for you and then they stopped making them. But for a while Sharper Image was pretty much the Ionic Breeze company. They ran so many TV commercials for it.
They do emit ozone but the negatively charged metal plates trap a lot of dust and bacteria and stuff. It's not just an ozone generator.

@1,118,540 (Meta !Sober//iZs) > I like the smell of ozone.
I remember going into an old thrift store in northern California and the old guy who ran it had an old ozone generator from the 1950s when they sold them as part of some health craze. He turned it on to demonstrate when I asked about it. It looked like just a series of metal plates arranged to form spark gaps that ionized the nearby air when you pumped enough electricity into it. It popped and threw sparks all over and smelled like a fireworks factory. I really wanted one.

It's not some health craze, medical ozone has been used for over a hundred years.

There is a thing called ozone therapy, but that wasn't what the device was doing.
