You need to have an empty stomach when you drink..
The alcohol will then give you an appetite and so you need to plan to have a tasty treat ready.

I went three blocks away to a place that has tasty burgers...but prior to returning to the house I went to the corner store and bought a refreshing blue powerade and mixed an epic cocktail.
Now when I wait a out 20 minutes for the epic 4 shot cocktail to take effect I will have a raging appetite and be in a prime position to enjoy the tasty burger and fries.
