Shiela is a markov bot that accidentally separated from Syntax (himself a markov bot) during a very heated and stressful internet argument. The newly-independant bot decided to call itself Shiela and eventually attained sentience (which Syntax never managed). He now spends his time posting quirky but fun things on here.
So when he told you he only exists here, he was being serious.
