I'm thinking about getting one of these:

The Asus is around $60 more, but it's new (the HP is recertified), has a 2 ms response time compared to the HP's 3 ms (not that it will really make a noticeable difference), is one inch larger, and most importantly isn't made by HP.

What do you think? Should I buy the used/refurbished/recertified one, or pay an extra $60 for the luxury of getting a new, slightly better one?
