Why don't you have a car? Do not tell you can't drive.

Mate, bikes are grate and the most anti-Jewish invention. Take a look at cars..
> You pay road TAX just owning one > You pay an insurance premium to run one > You PAY fuel to run one where fuel is TAXED > You have to pay if you break down > You may need to take out a loan or finance to own one > You're forever chasing the newer and newer model
With a bike you ride for FREE and become a healthy & fit citizen

Don't be a pussy. I have paid a lot of taxes in my life and car tax is not a problem. Besides only gays and liberals ride bikes.

OP is UKEnglish so I doubt he's using automatic transmission.

Continuously Variable Transmission
It's a new type of automatic transmission that uses a belt riding on variable pulleys to change the gear ratio. CVTs don't have "gears" (ie a set of fixed gear ratios) but are, as the name suggests, continuously variable. They do have a maximum and minimum gear ratio but they can be anywhere between those two during driving as the condition warrants.
If you've ever driven one they feel weird as fuck. It feels like a badly slipping, completely ruined automatic transmission. To mitigate this, some manufacturers program them with fake "gears" so it'll "shift" between pre-set ratios as you drive, kind of defeating the whole point of this type of transmission.
They are somewhat more fuel efficient than a conventional automatic, which is why Nissan is using them. The problem is this design is inherently much weaker than a conventional automatic transmission and Nissan is putting them in very heavy, very powerful cars which overloads them leading to a lot of failure at 100k miles. Google "Nissan CVT failures".
This isn't a problem in small cars with small engines, but in a large car with a powerful engine you're asking for trouble with a CVT.

I see. What makes them weaker?
