I'd never done a scratch ticket! Boyfriend would pick one up for me when he went to get beer or smokes or whatever. Neat way to occupy a few minutes and ended up breaking even or maybe even turning a profit.

I have no way of knowing with 100% certainty if Trip is lying or not. If she is, I genuinely do not care, because it's an incredibly inconsequential thing to lie about. If she isn't, it's a neat thing that happened. I don't think the fate of this website hinges on whether or not I think Trip is telling the truth about the time she made a tiny profit buying lottery tickets. Maybe I am just gravely underestimating the threat she currently poses to human civilization though.
