While I don't agree with this, it does say that those on disability benefits will be monitored on their physical activity level, not happiness

Ok yes, but it is a horrible, totalitarian idea with so many problems.

Agree. Nevertheless, it is terrible.

By God...if someone is drawing a $2000 a month disability check because supposedly they are unable to work and there is current video of them on Facebook of them riding a jet ski all day and playing volleyball in the sand...they need to be put in jail for a year and be publically shamed.

Bert has the freedom to live under a bridge when he eventually becomes homeless again. Thanks.

It's the "government spying on your life" part that I am specifically addressing.

People who use wheelchairs are sometimes able to walk for short distances. More broadly, people with disabilities can have good days. I think it was on this article where a commenter was cut off for walking a small dog, which their doctor had recommended.

It's weird that you think all my opinions are directly attributable to other people. Especially considering how excited you are about getting that government dough.

The refund she earned for being employed? Totally the same, not at all different.

Lol it's a refund. I paid those taxes from my employment. And the difference is that I don't gloat about not taking welfare/disability and shit on those who do.

If it was just payroll taxes and not partly due to some school credits you are an idiot for overpaying that much through the year. Yep.

I have loads of tuition credits. And I had 5 different employers through the year and had no idea how much I would end up earning through the year. I think it's perfectly normal to not know how much to withhold for my first year in such a situation, thanks. I'd prefer to overpay and have a refund than end up owing taxes.

Ok bud. I'm not an expert on taxes my first year out of school so I'm an oaf. I just said in my last post that this is a new tax situation for me and I felt better playing it safe.
