Is the coronavirus situation really much different than it was 3 weeks ago?
It might be a bit different since a lot of people have stayed solitary.
This shit is infectious as hell and noone knows how the fuck it got them.
So now we should go back to how we acted like maybe February and suddenly everything will be cool?
What has changed??
What has changed to where it's now ok to not stay inside? Have I missed something?

Are you beginning to see the light that re opening now would be irresponsible as hell and cause the avoidable deaths of countless people?

You're right. It makes zero sense from any sane perspective. It would be reckless and defeat the entire purpose of the exercise, more or less.

It does seem crazy. I cant see how stopping the stay inside thing and the opening of gathering places anytime soon would make any sense at all.
It's like a school shooting in progress where 50 kids have already been shot by two or three gunners and the rest of the kids are barricaded in classrooms and it gets quiet for 15 minutes so the Principle says "Ok..seems like it's safe for everyone to come out now."

Please retain this glimmer of independent thinking next time you feel the need to defend Trump's every move

Yes this is correct! Until we have a way to quickly detect who is sick and quarantine them before they enter any public place, or some kind of vaccine, opening the economy will only cause the number of cases to explode. Hopefully we can have enough testing by July or so to do that but there's no way to know when that will be.
