I had some Torys, once! Me and some other lads. The stuff we bought was really cheap, though, so it was shit. We had to mix it with coke.
Other than that, all of the other Japanese alcohol I've tried has been pretty good.

Have you ever tried umeshu? It's japanese plum wine. Doesn't taste like wine though. It's so smooth and buttery.
I first had it on a tinder date with a guy who turned out to be a TA for my computer science class (not my section!). I wasn't really interested in going out with him again but he had asked the professors for permission to date a student in a different section. The umeshu was good though.

This is very educational. Thank you. It makes a great little science experiment the kids can do at home to learn how percentages work.
It should be noted, however, that some people aren't in a rush to become blind drunk as quickly as possible. I know that's difficult to understand, but some deviant crazies have subjective measures like taste or aroma that they look for while enjoying a beverage.
