Topic: He who makes a beast out of himself gets rid of the pain that comes with being a man!

You think a demon cares if the economy is bad? Hm? Does a demon care about what's for dinner or who won't be for dinner? Nha. A demon only cares about demon stuff.

Totally true. Have you read demon blogs? It's all crap about optimum fire-to-brimstone ratios and acoustic properties of cavernous hellfire torture chambers. Are you using artisanally crafted wrought iron pokers sourced from medieval slave-mined hematite? How high should the ceiling arches in your den of torment be so as to cause the screams of the damned to echo at the right Satanic frequencies?

Demons are picky little fuckers that are completely uninterested in anything except themselves. You think they care about your suffering? Not really. Or if they do it's only insofar as it adds to their current favorite interior design aesthetic.

Well there's the minecraft version of demons, then there's the real demons, but lastly, there's the demons more demonic than the real demons. Jesus once said that you shouldn't look at other women and think of them in a improper way, because it contaminates your heart. Some hearts are literally shitting sin.

Well he also had magic powers that let him put demons into pigs. His worldview was a little different than mine.

Nonsense, wasn't that story condemned as heresy? That story of sinners turning into pigs and drowning themselves?

I thought that he was quating someone else?

The story that appears in three of the gospels? No, I don't think so.

Oh. Well I haven't really read the Bible. I know, it's so stupid. I do however remember a youtube video about holy men gathering together and deciding what should or shouldn't be thought by the church, as if the giant blessing that Jesus was upon humanity... As if it was too much for humanity to handle and that all sorts of stories from every type there is was springing up and amounting to a giant mess of confusion and incoherence. Those holy men got together and the story of the sinners who wanted to be left alone with their sins but instead got turned into pigs, that story was condemned as heresy.

Probably rightly so. If they drowned themselves like you said before, then it's likely supposed to loosely parallel (or be a bizarre retelling) of a story about Jesus appearing in the beginning of Mark 5 or at the end of Matthew 8 and Luke 8.

Why the evil spirits needed to be cast into pigs, I'm not sure. Was there not a convenient fig tree around to put the demons in? Why not just banish the demons? Why do they need to be put somewhere? Dispel Evil is only a 5th level cleric spell. Where do the demons go once the pigs die? Why are there people herding pigs around Judea in the first place? Is there a side narrative about the world's unluckiest bacon salesman? Anyway, just going by the stories, Jesus had some funny ideas.
