All he has to do is launder the money through his supposed book sales.

He needs that money for his senate re-election campaign. That way he can hire all his loyalists and pay them exorbitant salaries

He won't even pay his staffers a so called living wage, which by the way he was vehemently condemning others for not doing.

Was any staff on the campaign paid less than $15/hr?

Initially there definitely were! Only after he was chastising many employers in the country for not doing so...his own business matters were scrutinized publically and then and only then did he make adjustments with his own workers like cutting their hours before announcing that he would begin paying all of the 15 an hour. Yep.

So when you said "he won't pay his staffers a living wage", you meant "he did pay all of his staffers a living wage, just not all of them from the very beginning". Which is a fair criticism but phrased in a way that is factually not true. I wonder where you got that habit from.

Doing so in the beginning would have been real help.

I agree. He was still paying them $36,000 per year, but they were working effectively 60 hour weeks, not 40 hour weeks. That was bad and I'm glad he corrected it and put his money where his mouth was. I don't really see that as a huge knock against him, though Sanders is far from perfect.
