What?!? This has got to be a mistranslation. Easter is the Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus. Being an ultra-Orthodox Jew, I somehow doubt Mr. Litzman would see Easter as "the time of our redemption". Passover, yes. Easter, no.

Yes. The Jewish people do not think Jesus was the messiah so a holiday for his ressurection would have no significance for an ultra-Orthodox Jew and would certainly not be "the time our redemption".
Easter occurs about the same time as Passover so I think that's where the confusion came for.
