This "china in focus" channel would have you believe the virus is not actually contained but the opposite, also apparently there's a mild case of panic buying food there now because their swines are dying from some kind of African swine virus.
Yes it's very strange indeed. China would not normally buy something from itself i believe, and especially not that part of itself.

It's really a separate island country full of people who fled mainland china after Mao seized power. China pretends that it's rightfully theirs and the U.S. goes along with it. I think that's fucking dumb and the U.S. should support full Taiwanese independence but that would piss off the CCP too much so we pussyfoot around it.
