You mean like if they deliberately try to spread it around? Possibly, but I think it would only end up as a mini annoyance. It impractical because they themselves have to be sick, and then if they are capable of walking around and spreading it, they could look sick AND (and) there would be suspicion.

I get your sarcasm but I really don't think they would, I mean, they have not done it with Lyme disease have they? Lyme disease is much much worse. They'd just have to gather together a bunch of ticks and make it bite a infected host. Spread it around in convenient places.

Yea, but I ended up in hospital for about 2 weeks when I became sick while still on the trail. Doc gave me meds, kept me there a while and said I should have no lasting effects since it hadn't fully transformed. Have had any relapse of it since, so I guess it's all good

It took them about 2 days to figure it out. They at first thought it was girardia(sp?), and had me shit in a bed pan type thing. Apparently it came back clear for that, and then he said maybe Lyme. They did blood tests and it came back positive.
I was in the hospital for 2 weeks cause it was causing me to puke or shit out whatever I ate or drank within minutes, and it continued in the hospital, so they fed me antibiotics and an IV.
