Topic: so I have a science fiction idea for the virus

So let's say that under special conditions, individual viruses cling to each other in the manner that water molecules do when cooling down and crystalizing. Now let's speculate that with enough of them, the configuration happens to match a neural net kind of circuitry.

Maybe it's a good thing if viruses start thinking.

Instead of combating viruses with vaccines and drugs, we can just give them subscriptions to Netflix or teach them Pokémon and shit. Having so much less experience with sentience, viruses would be vulnerable to all kinds of simple traps humans manage to avoid. Sign them up for an MLM or get them to join a harmless cult. Just keep them busy wasting time so they lose interest in other things. They'll never see this coming.
