I use Vodafone but I don't think it's the best. Three IMO is pretty lame and I think the above posters only say so because it's their provider.

Pretty much. But they offer a pretty good deal for unlimited internet and calls, so I'll big them up on MC at least.

In America we only have like 4 total

There’s a bunch of shitty ones for old people but most people have like one of 4

Eh, I've been on O2, Vodafone, and Tesco (lol), and vastly prefer Three over them. Three's Feel at Home/Go Roam shit is pretty nice too - that used to put them far ahead of the rest, though I don't know if that holds true nowadays.

Vodafone has been fucking terrible for years and shouldn't even be on this list. Three is the clear winner.

PAYG? Three is £35 for unlimited data. Giffgaff now do £20 for 80GB. I'm on Three and Giffgaff lol.

The Three contract I'm on is unlimited for £34 a month. A fine deal, as far as I'm concerned.

How much do you use though? I haven't used up my 80GB even watching 1080p on YouTube, downloading a lot of Netflix Shows and updating my PS4.

I just can't be doing with limits, m8.
I do use it quite heavily when I'm out. Now and again, when I'm away from home, I also use the wifi hotspot with my laptop. I even downloaded a video game DLC through it, once. It wasn't a huge DLC, but still.

I nearly made that joke myself, but I wasn't sure anyone would remember it.

That's another major benefit with Three — their unlimited tariffs are genuinely unlimited. There's no Acceptable Use Policy that secretly limits you to e.g. 250GB (like O2's 'unlimited' in inverted commas); it's literally as much data as you're able to use, which is far less common than you'd think.

How do you use that much data though? I have to go out of my way to use a lot of data.

I usually don't, probably. I just like having the option to do so.

Good to know. I actually got my phone and contract before learning this, too. Lucky me.
