Topic: Is it natural to be afraid to answer a phone call?

A friend of mine keeps calling me and a part of me feels afraid not to mention exhausted because I know for a fact they are likely very drunk to the point where they’re tripping over obstacles and apologizing to me for being abusive. I want to be there for them but at the same time I don’t know if I have it left in me.

I only ever got drunk calls from one person, and he stopped after he tried to snuggle with me while I was sleeping and I threatened to kill him.
