Daytime running lights are mandatory in Canada but not in the US so a lot of cars don't have them (which is good - I think having your headlights on in the middle of broad daylight looks gay as all fuck).

The only two types of motorcyclists I see are either soon to be organ donors in their early 20s zooming through traffic at 90mph on crotch rockets or old fat boomers on Harley Davidsons who can barely ride at all but like to LARP as Hells Angels on weekends. The former type doesn't care about safety and the latter is going too slow to get in a proper accident.
