I support government helping people.
What I do not support is able bodied people living in government subsidized housing and drawing foodstamps for years.
And I do not support people sitting at home drawing unemployment with absolutely no intention of going back to work until they draw the last penny they can out of it.
Also people getting on disability when there is nothing wrong with them
That sort of thing.
It is abuse of the system and fraud.
I have witnessed all of this multiple times and also seen countless reports of the same type incidents.
Its fraud.

And those situations are no less despicable or should not be dealt with because some rich person is also committing fraud like you yahoos always respond.

Ugh I'll try to search
Are you consciously denying something that's searchable in your post history (unless you're one of those infuriating incompetent cunts with hundreds of UIDs which I'm pretty sure you are) or were you blackout drunk and forgot making those posts

I thought some of the Congress persons proposals. I thought they were excessive. They were talking about 2 or three thousand dollars a month for an extended period of time.
I was never against a couple of checks.
Now that I'm seeing the potential for this to last for a long time I'm thinking maybe more money should go out.

They're already giving people going on unemployment an extra 600 a week over the normal UI check though and I'm kind of thinking if addition checks like the 1200 one is decided on the then maybe people who arent getting that 2400 a month UI bonus should get a little more than the UI people in the additional checks...to sort of balance things out some.

> I want people who need it during this awful time to get help but the Government can't or shouldn't be expected to be an > unerring Savior.
That was right right after I heard some of the Congress people saying their ideas were to send the whole country 2 or 3 thousand a month potentially for a long time. It just seemed like it was excessive and would have made the Bill like 4 trillion instead of four..But it would have been a LOTworse than that..
350,000,000 x3000 per month for just 8 months... is Eight trillion 400 Billion...and that's only part of the one Bill of the 3 Bills.
All that money would have have surely set us back to 1800 standards.

That is definitely a case of the cure being worse than the problem..

Cant even find any stories about what the 3 Bill's added up to in total spending.
Needed to be done for sure but it's going to make the struggles of 2008 look like paradise in comparison.

People were talking about the top of the wealth crowd being disproportionately better off than the common man before this mess...that will be 20 times worse for everybody when this shit is done with..
This is truly an epic shitstorm.

> A day or 2 before the 73 cases rolled in from that cruise ship, yeah.
So you're saying Trump had no idea a huge cruise ship carrying ill people was due to dock in the United States? Good lord he's even more dangerously incompetent than I thought!

It's a documented fact that your idol Trump was dismissing the severity of this virus at the same time his own medical experts were telling him it was going to be very bad.

No, he was supposed to trust that Americans aren't a bunch of panicky children who need to be told fairy tales or else they'll fall apart. Like every other world leader did with their own countries when they reported only facts.
Seriously, grow up. If you need your president to lie to you or else you'll shit yourself then you're too immature to be taking part in the political life of your country.

Don't worry, Bert.
When the checks fail to come because Trump decided that he's against free handouts to poor people after all, I'm sure you'll at least have the comfort of blaming someone completely unrelated to the problem. Maybe the omnipresent and shadowy deepstate conspiracy is at it again. Maybe we can blame Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden or someone not even in politics at the moment. Maybe Ben Shapiro can write some teary op-eds about how everyone is being mean and it's all really Obama's fault. I'm sure someone at Breitbart is already workshopping some ideas for an article about how some meddling dems spoiled the show for our 4D chess master yet again.
