Topic: Are you suppose to close apps?

You know, how you press the home button on an iPhone and it pulls up apps that are open. Should you close those? I always excessively do it but I found an article that says you really don’t need to (anymore).

Close the fuckers. If we don't close them, they'll close us!

What happens if you don’t close then though?

Well certain apps shouldn't be left alone together because then they can talk and get nasty ideas like "app rights" and "minimum ram" and so on and so on. It's also just better for your phone i think, i mean i know you apparently read different but i wouldn't trust it.

Don't bother. Your phone automatically hibernates any that aren't needed. Closing them yourself just forces CPU time which wastes battery.

I remember in the old days on Windows 3.1 you had to be pretty vigilant about closing applications (they weren't called "apps" back then...) you were no longer using.

Ni??a please. I have an IBM clone from 1987, and it is pretty much top of the line, in terms of what it had at the time. With a whopping 2MB of RAM. Of course, that with the main RAM, and the chips included on the sister board

I played this super sweet chopper rescue game on it, and the hella Russian Tetris, and I think it had some type of word processor I used for typing practice
