China and Iran are probably understated by a substantial margin. The US with limited testing capacity is also surely higher than the number there. If only because China has 4x the population I have to believe they're still above us for the time being in actual numbers.

That's nearly a 1.25% mortality rate which is nowhere near as bad as Iran's near 10%. Maybe because America tests more, so it's nearer the true mortality rate.
