He's (jokingly, I think) referring to how our anti-coronavirus measures aren't yet as strict as those of some other countries. Although that might not be the case for much longer, our PM basically just said there might be an Italy-style lockdown soon if the UK's population doesn't take the government advice seriously.

It worries me how long they took to implement measures compared to other countries. I just worry about my family. My aunt works in a hospital and lives with my elderly and ill grandparents.
