Topic: This crisis really puts my unemployment in perspective

I can't believe they have those old vulnerable people still working over there for them, and how quite mercilessly they fired me in a possibly illegal way when I didn't want to possibly kill them all with my mysterious fever that went up and down all day. I could have easily lost my shit but it's like, geez, who wants to work for a corporation like that? And geez (again) there's shittier things out there. Like a economic crash and a pandemic at the same time.
So i guess I'm saying, I don't know, but being fired wasn't all that bad. It's always been so that my next job is a better job.
Hmeh I don't think that's likely. But my insurance says government aid will expand their unemployment benefits for 6 months, plus i will possibly get some extra months in pay and i am yet to take out my holiday savings within the company.

I think that as the healthcare folk, doctors and nurses especially, will be on the front line as it's called, they should really start demanding things like actual lockdowns by the likes of wuhan.
