It would be better if you had to actually assemble the meal yourself, like the furniture. You get all the separate ingredients in little packs and there's an instruction booklet.

I have some japanese candy kits like that. You make candy sushi, or hamburgers and fries (that one was weird, it actually tasted like a hamburger and fries), or w/e, from packets of powder. It's fun.
