That's very interesting. That gives me an idea for thousands of threads.

Vermont The home state of Bernie Sanders. It is one of the highest taxes states in the country. Do you not think Bernie will not tax your pants off if he were President?

His state is at the top for taxes. That right there shows you how he is Lapoof.

Taxes are just an expense like any other bill at the end of the day. What benefits do you get for that expense, and is it worth it all in the aggregate? You throw the word around like it's a dirty thing but there really isnt a difference between rent and a tax, for example, when you're budgeting.

I've lived and paid taxes in NYC, NJ and DC. All of those have comparable or higher taxes than Vermont. I do not really care if I am getting a good quality of life and the policies I want implemented in my state government.

Uhhh I pick both. All of those places have great quality of life. Excellent schools, low crime rates, great social safety net programs etc. DC is the worst of the 3 but is also kind of a weird case generally & is trending up anyway. I would much rather live where I do than like Missouri or Oklahoma, especially if I had kids and wanted them to go to good public schools.

You live in a country that still believes in a fucking monarchy. Come back when you have advanced to the year 1776 dork.
