Trump is proposing giving out a thousand dollars to every American.
He is also proposing yet another 80 billion dollar bailout of the airline industry. This comes after the massive tax break he gave them last year which they stupidly spent on stock buy backs. Now they have no money in the reserves and their stock is worth nothing, so wouldn't you know it, the taxpayers get to bail them out yet again.
But yeah, 'down with socialism' I guess.

I can't wait for Canada to close the border to Americans. I'm sure it'd be done by now except Trump's gonna take it as some personal insult and throw a tantrum like the child he is. Especially with the lack of testing and healthcare in the US. We shouldn't be allowing these filthy vectors of disease in.

I'm not even being ironic. Flights are only coming in through four airports now, and Trudeau has heavily hinted that all air travel will be shut down before long (telling Canadians abroad to get home while they still can). Already only asymptomatic Canadian citizens and permanent residents+immediate family and, for some reason, Americans are allowed in.

Yeah he 100% needs to stop allowing americans to fly in. Americans crossing the border should be at the very least temperature checked. We are being run by a complete moron and have no idea how many actual cases of the virus there are. Trudeau needs to get some intestinal fortitude and shut the border temporarily.

Temperature checks are now being done at airports afaik. I think restricting flights to only the four major airports is a good move to allow Canadians to return home before shutting it down completely. François Legault has taken good measures in Quebec as well, although other provinces vary.
