Memories of my first trip to NSW Dubbo Australia Team mates From Alcatel (France) and Marconi (Italy) for this as in photo however as in pic very little was yet complete.
I flew in to manage the completion of this for Qualcomm/Globalstar and then become the launch commander for the first two launches = 8 Satellites total. Launch Key at Dubbo with Cape Kennedy as Delta II and when Rocket directly over my Haid - Nose cone opens and FOUR NewBorn's Exit spinning around looking for Earth vs Sun so they could stop spinning so much so quickly -
Upon arrival the Italian in charge gave me a lesson in use of their Espresso machine and after my first cup and as next cup was in process he gave me the jar of Vegemite and some fresh toasted bread to spread.
With Espresso in hand and one bite of that Vegemit - I SPIT IT ALL OUT in one hell of a SPIT on Floor across the Room BURST - So SALTY SO SO SALTY.
First and Last bite of that Salt Mine on Toast.
Kind of like the time I took a group of performers for a Rock show to have Beers on me in Frankfurt Germany while we were on tour - Lovely very cute Lovely Lead Singer of the Band - She took one sip of the German Brew and SPIT IT ACROSS THE Table in OUR Faces
And then the similar Oyster Event where another Rock Star did that at the dinner table with a Raw Oyster - Later I said to her I bet you do not swallow in the bedroom and she said YEP
