Topic: Italy in full lockdown and so should we.

Anonymous A started this discussion 6 years ago #97,355

It always spreads so fast that these measures become a must. That's why nations ought to do it earlier and therefore shorten the time to get it under control, if ever. The bad thing is that it's going to spread horrifically in poor parts of the world and if we are going to help them while barring them entry, we need to be ourselves in tip top shape, ready to send doctors and supplies. So we must lock down immediately.

I do keep a rather large back up of cans of Soup and pasta sauce in jars and lots n lots n lots of bagged Pastas in a variety of shapes

Freezer is stocked buttttttttttt Perhaps two weeks of good/great meals could cum from such - Have about 6 months of TP cause I buy it in bulk - Shelves were empty when I was close to the last 6 rolls so I waited one day and hit store early and got my 6 month supply IN

Next door neighbor has an emergency larder but THEY ARE Vegetarians cause Self Relationship Fellowship Church being somewhat Indian based is also South Indian based and a Cow is still considered Sacred. I have keys to all but like CAN Veggies? UGH just UGH - Have not tasted can veggies since I was in Afghanistan in 80's - How the hell can one can a green bean and end up with ugly looking Mush? Color is more grey than green.

IF you should ring my doorbell here in Cardiff by the Sea. Expect to be sprayed with Clorox bleach cause I did buy a lot of that for back up

No one visits you at the Coronavirus infected nursing home you live at, except for your roommate and the nurse to change your diaper.

Funny how Europe is on lockdown, but America is free despite having a leader that wants to close borders and build walls.

It is very ironic but it's really only Italy that is locking shit down. Why? Because they got hit first. Meanwhile you have places like France, that just barely enforces their measure of "no more than thousand people in one place" and that's the gist of it, these are improper and arbitrary actions that are only there to calm fears while the entire west gambles on not having the virus break out massively (which will happen) and therefore not suffer any economic consequences of preemptive measures like forbidding tourism for a short while, instead of rightfully expecting it to show up and take measures to avoid overwhelmed hospitals which will have far worser economic consequences.

A small mistake compared to you and your chronic underestimation of this virus. When we have almost all the hospitals overwhelmed, will you finally admit to being a not so wise wise-ass?

If you're so worried about this virus why are you talking about it here

Anonymous A (OP) replied with this 6 years ago, 1 minute later, 14 hours after the original post[^] [v] #1,099,186

@previous (dreamworks)

I'm not worried, it's just what's going to happen. We will be talking about it a lot more once every country is in crisis over it.

Talking about a huge disaster like this and how governments are failing to do anything about it, on minichan... That's not really a sign of the opposite.
