Right, this just seems logical to me. A mentally unbalanced man was elected last election, so the Democrats are sending in their own.

Really, the primaries aren't even done yet. Saying that they're "betting everything" on a guy who only has 1/3 of the necessary delegates right now is a touch overblown.

Back in my school days, people would vote for the mentally challenged children out of pity, just so they would know what it’s like to live life and win for once. That’s pretty much how trump won.

You forget that Trump supported David Duke then said he had never met Duke until CNN found tapes of Duke in meetings with Trump. Then after four full days Trump said he did not approve of the Grand Dragon of Ku Klux Klan's position but still backed Duke himself.

And when the White Knights and KKK marched together against the protesters Trump said there were good people on both sides,
.

You admit you love Trump because he is a Racist. He is your Bro.

But why would Trump want anyone to read the transcript? The transcript does really have him saying the both-sides thing in response to a question about Neo-Nazis. The Republican Speaker of the House at the time even called Trump out on that shit.

I was always confused by the "But her emails" remarks too because I could never find anything on Wikileaks in the emails except boring political talk among staffers. Why would anyone want me to read them? It's just over-hyped bullshit.

It's like both of these responses are relying on people not actually going and doing the thing being asked of them.

Because in the transcript he clearly condemns the Nazis, and is talking about the two groups there who were for and against historical statues. Read the transcript and make up your own mind, instead of being a Fake Newser.

And the emails are about the 30,000+ emails that were deleted. That's still ongoing too, Hillary has just been ordered once again to answer questions under oath about it.

> Read the transcript and make up your own mind
That's the point. I did. It's not great.

The "very fine people on both sides" line comes in here:
Reporter: "The neo-Nazis started this. They showed up in Charlottesville to protest –"
Trump: "Excuse me, excuse me. They didn’t put themselves – and you had some very bad people in that group, but you also had people that were very fine people, on both sides. You had people in that group. Excuse me, excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of, to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name."

After this he trails off into trying to compare George Washington to Confederate generals, something he does multiple times in that transcript.

While it would be fun to pretend that Trump was referring to some convenient, non-partisan group of statuary admirers that happened to be there, that would be making shit up to push a narrative. The protest organizer, Jason Kessler, is a self-described neo-Nazi and white supremacist who very openly invited other neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups to show up at the protest.

You're right that Trump did manage to condemn white supremacists. His comments even start off pretty good with him saying, "As I said on – remember, Saturday – we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America."

The big problem is that he starts equivocating between the neo-Nazis and the counter protesters. This is what got him in trouble and lead to him being called out by democrats and republicans alike. His response is literally whataboutism:
Trump: "Okay, what about the alt-left that came charging at – excuse me, what about the alt-left that came charging at the, as you say, the alt-right? Do they have any semblance of guilt?
Let me ask you this: What about the fact that they came charging with clubs in their hands, swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do. As far as I’m concerned, that was a horrible, horrible day. Wait a minute. I’m not finished. I’m not finished, fake news. That was a horrible day –
I will tell you something. I watched those very closely – much more closely than you people watched it. And you have – you had a group on one side that was bad, and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent. And nobody wants to say that, but I’ll say it right now. You had a group – you had a group on the other side that came charging in, without a permit, and they were very, very violent."
Reporter: "Do you think that what you call the alt-left is the same as neo-Nazis?"
Trump: "Those people – all of those people – excuse me, I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I’ve condemned many different groups. But not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists by any stretch. Those people were also there because they wanted to protest the taking down of a statue of Robert E. Lee."

This is why he gets criticized for not condemning neo-Nazis and white supremacists. When you actually read the transcript it's clear he condemns neo-Nazis beating people in the streets but immediately blames the "alt-left" for their actions. That's not condemning them. That is just making excuses for them.

This is why I'm confused as to why anyone would actually want me to go back and read Trump's remarks. Trump, acting as President of the United States, comes off as an apologist for neo-Nazis and white supremacists. It's the most limp-dick condemnation I've ever heard. It makes him look wishy-washy as fuck.

Yes, he did but actually reading the transcript makes Trump sound like a pussy-ass bitch who is afraid to confront racists without making excuses for them. If you want to try to revise history to make dear leader sound wonderful, just quote that part out of context and stop inviting people to go fact-check your bullshit.
