One of them was an “artist” who had no real talent, but painted walls, made crappy mobiles, etc. She made the lightbulb like that on purpose on her little “art area” of the living room because she thought it was “Bohemian”. It was a nice condo overall. There is your actual, truthful answer.

Yeah but presumably the lightbulb wasn't an art piece, just for "atmosphere". I love good lighting in a place. We got some of those Philips hue bulbs/strips, where you can control the colour and brightness via an app. They're really nice :)
