He had a recording studio. People were all like "this guy is doing weird shit." so they had an undercover hire him to record two people having sex. He and some chick jumped up and down on a bed while making noises. He was charged with obscenity.

No. I would prefer a legal system that protected people.
We pretty much have private security. Law enforcement protects itself. The War On Drugs provides lots and lots of overtime for cops (don't believe for a moment that cops dont get overtime for court appearances. Civilian witnesses arent paid, so cops really shouldn't be either). Cops rarely face punishment for their crimes.
Any cop who has ever made a marijuana possession arrest is a monster. They are disgusting human beings who profit off of the suffering of others. They profit same as drug dealers.
I understand some people have relatives who are cops. Maybe some of you have friends who are cops. I'm sure they seem like nice people, but they will throw a crack addicted prostitute, who really needs help, in jail. Incarceration does not help addicts.
Do you know what happens to addicts in prison? They go through withdrawal without the aid of medical treatment. They are ignored by the guards.
My brother's cellmate thought my brother was dying. He begged the guards to take him for treatment. They didn't even acknowledge him.
Prisoners, these criminals we see as the trash of society, are more emphatic and kind than prison guards.
We need to stop treating our fellow humans as scum because they have problems. The real scum have shiney badges.
