I sometimes question if Trump wasn’t trying to purposely lose the election and now purposely trying to get himself removed from office but he has a dedicated following that wouldn’t allow him to leave. That's true. I vote in every election, federal state and local. Almost no one in my age range does the same. That's a big reason why candidates like Bernie who try to corner the market on youth votes at the expense of older voters usually fail. Much as I think it sucks, bland inoffensive politics win primaries and elections and bold radical ones lose.

Bernie's appeal of course is the Free the lots of Free for all he promises. I was watching and I think it was with Bernie and Anderson Cooper when Anderson asked Bernie about the Medicare for all and the Free college for all and a couple of other free programs Bernie is offering up IF he wins the election. Cooper had the additions as $60 Trillion and Bernie actually said he was unaware about any total number but did say HOW CAN WE AFFORD not too when it will pay for itself - I broke out in laffter and Anderson just grinned.

Yes as president even a best case scenario for him would be heavily watered down versions of what he pitched during the campaign. That's not unique to him, every candidate delivers less than they promise.
