The way I see it, this is great moderation. Because it's honest. Sure, we could have a weenie mod who will send you a PM patting you on the head and telling you you're a good boy, but Meta tells the truth. If your posting isn't up to par, he'll say so in his PMs. If the other mods weren't so cucked, they would do the same.
