Topic: In the gaze of a obscene dictatorship

Anonymous A started this discussion 6 years ago #97,183

If you don't like crowds, if you are the type that doesn't try to get close to someone just for the sake of having a friend, if you don't really even intend to have a friend, then employment is really crucial because otherwise you wouldn't really have a chance of gaining a friend.

The way i see it is that friendship happens naturally as people get to know each other, it's thus such a pain to know that when it comes to friendship, people can take it away from you if they simply don't like you or were in a bad mood. They could fire you from a job and you'd possibly just drift away from the person you care about. Surely, freedom is threatened in this way.

Well at least I didn't make the mistake of thinking a virus that's going to be a huge fucking deal wasn't a huge big deal even though all the signs pointed to it ?

It's still not a big deal.

Probably forever, it's basically just normal flu except a little more deadly for kids and old people. Who cares about them?

It's not deadly for kids. This one is definitely going to make it to the history books though, won't be a small part of a page neither, nor just a couple of pages.

It's just swine flu and bird flu and MERS and SARS and AIDS all over again, people said the same thing for all those and now nobody even really thinks of them, it's a big load of nothing.

Except they are going to have to halt society and implement large scale quarantines so that the healthcare system isn't overwhelmed. Even then, it quite easily might.

lol yes they will. Already doing it in South Korea, China, Japan and Italy. Once it's apparent that simply closing schools isn't enough, they will try to move more in the direction that China went.

A bunch of third world nations, I'm so afraid. I remember when society was going to collapse because of ebola.

Yes well that kind of ignorance would also explain your current outlook on this virus.

So for an update on state of USA virus or not

The stock market broke new ground last week in terms of the breakneck speed of its selloff, with the S&P 500 dropping 10% from its record high in a mere six days, faster than any other time in history.

Time for some bargain-hunting?

Not so fast, says the Felder Report’s Jesse Felder, who pointed to “The Buffett Yardstick,” in reference to what the Berkshire Hathaway BRK.A, -3.910% boss calls “the best single measure of where valuations stand at any given moment”:

Highlites only for the lite readers here

For long-term investors, it’s probably most important to understand that the decline we saw last week has in no way made the broad stock market look cheap, as some might suggest.”

the numbers show that stocks are just as expensive as they were in 2000 before the 50% drop and they are 20% more expensive than they were ahead of the 57% plunge during the Financial Crisis.

“So, it’s hard to argue there is much value in the broad indexes at all even after the steep correction we saw last week,” Felder wrote in a post.

“What’s more, downside risk is still very elevated.”

The Virus just pushed what was being called a ready to burst stock market Bubble - Just a weeee bit sooner and given it's a bug with zero anti virus anything except just wash your hands because any fool who thinks wearing a mask will protect against breathing in a virus? They failed to even take Biology 101 as Trump failed to take.

Bugs take time to deal with. A Simple Bacteria aka TB fails to catch the watchful eyes of the Chinese People (Commie Gov) and so as with SARS and the other new bugs coming out of China where they go out of their way to take Road Kill to Wok as 2nites dinner - This Corona is just one more example of why washing ones hands is about all the experts can offer up

Me I went out and bought a lot of Bleach and will find some get well e-cards to use

No amount of bleach is enough to get a female to touch your almost 80 year old penis.
