Thread Censorship WHICH I missed while it was all taking place sure made for an almost impossible thread/topic to read and reply2Was really hard to find out what if any of this was out of order

Must be very very careful here with the New Rules in place yet Mods or Mod who has failed to read or obey such new rules
I was not around when a pile of threads were deleted - But did read where a quality poster Tryptch had a gripe about what was going on with deletions and if Tryptch has a rare Gripe - One can only surmise Mod was out of order and in Censorship mode or such

Rules 4 and 5 were decent reasons to tidy up that thread. I did check through the deleted replies, and it mostly was the same tired namefag drama that gets repeated ad nauseam if it's allowed to.
It's a tricky issue, for sure. On the one hand I think it's better for moderation to be mostly hands-off on the shitposting, but I think there's been an upturn in said tired drama recently, so I can agree with those posts being pruned.
(I wasn't the mod who deleted the posts or the thread, by the way, I'm just trying to be transparent about why those posts were deleted).

I of course must learn that fyne line about reasonable - Odd thing is that currently I just got a letter about a property I own FULLY and Lease out where the tenet has violated some community rule - No Codes No Law cited by complainant YET they had the nerve(Three Villages and one City proper) to say

The two Many wood end up with serious Dox of the property I own and the many referees to something the neighbors are thrilled and complimentary about having, yet it for some reason bothers the Mayor of the many small cities I am part of
So I am in multitasking (just thinking about the letter I need to compose) Before I sick an attorney on the Mayor for not even being able to cite a code/law and take the time to get the City Attorney to write me a frigging letter - Perhaps I should Hire Becky to sue the city attorney and mayor for harassing me and the Leasee

Yes, obviously, what constitutes "excessive" shitposting is subjective. Individual mods making their own judgement calls on it is the best we can do, really. That said, from what I saw, nothing much of value was lost with those replies. Same old rehashed drama that we've all already seen.

No they didn't. I saw the thread. Matt started accusing Triptych of lying when she said he'd asked her for explicit pictures when she was 15. Then all of a sudden Triptych gets censored whereas Matt gets to carry on. Very weird.
